ElevenLabs introduces new workspace group management features to improve access control, enabling organizations to manage permissions effectively and prevent unauthorized product usage.
In a strategic move to bolster organizational control, ElevenLabs has unveiled new group management features within its workspace settings. According to ElevenLabs, these enhancements aim to streamline access management and prevent unauthorized usage of product features.
The newly introduced features provide workspace administrators with the ability to set specific permissions for different groups and members. This includes restricting access to certain product functionalities, such as creating dubs, professional voice clones, or API keys. By doing so, organizations can mitigate unwanted expenditures and enhance security.
When permissions are activated, new products within the workspace require explicit opt-in, ensuring that only authorized users can access them. This proactive approach ensures that organizations maintain control over who can utilize various tools and features, aligning with their operational needs.
While most permissions pertain to user interface controls, ElevenLabs clarifies that API access demands a more stringent approach. For effective restriction, API key creation must be explicitly blocked. Additionally, voice restrictions are consistently enforced at the backend level, providing an extra layer of security and compliance.
These updates represent ElevenLabs’ commitment to enhancing user experience by providing robust tools for workspace management, allowing organizations to tailor access levels according to their specific requirements.
